Here in Pike County we will be hosting our Annual "Pride of Pike 4th of July Celebration on July 3rd from 4:00 to 11:00 p.m.
The Annual Independence Day Parade will begin at the Pike County Primary School and end at the park. At dark it will be time for the huge fireworks show with live entertainment continuing after the fireworks until 11:00pm.
Activities will include inflatables, rock wall, miniature train and face painting.
Live entertainment will begin at 5:30pm. Great food, arts & crafts and other items for sale.

Hey Alicia,
I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work and patience while Cameron and I was trying to buy our home. It had a few bumps in the road with it being a foreclosed home, but we now feel it was well worth it. You hung in there with us, especially when I wanted to give up. As first time home-buyers, we were searching for an agent who would understand and listen to our needs. We wanted someone who would not push us into buying every house we looked at but would work with us to find the perfect home. During that time, I met with the listing agents for the properties we considered. I always felt as though they were trying to rush us into something that we might not be able to afford or was more than we actually needed. When I first met Alicia it was early 2008. I was impressed with her knowledge of properties and the workings of the real estate business. We found a home that caught our attention and immediately I thought of Alicia. It had been a little more than a year since I had first met her but she stood out in my mind and when we met her at the property, I was elated to find out that she remembered me from almost a year ago. Agents see so many people daily that it was quite a surprise that I was still fresh in her memory. When the time came and we had found our dream home, Alicia worked extensively with us to meet deadlines and make sure that our best interest was always a priority. Even though we had to jump through hoops and over hurdles as she put it, she got us into our home and made us true believers that there really are people out there that will go the extra mile for their customers.
