Yep, a long haul, but today I sold my last REO property, hopefully there are more in the works.
Yep, I sold a beautiful house at 20% below orignal listing, but with the market in such a flux, it was a good buy for her.
Buyers hopefully will realize this is their best time to buy, rates are reasonable, prices have lowered, but will rebound in a year or two. Many sellers are in a holding pattern, and if their property doesn't sell in 90 days deciede to rent it instead. This is a good philosphy, if they have to have a certain amount from the sale.
Many investors have decieded to try to unload their least profitable properties, but unfortunately, most of these are in the highest REO area here in Springfield, so they have a lot of competion. And of course, that is lowering the market value in more so.
Well, everyone, have a great 3day weekend, man of us (me) will still be working, finding buyers, and asking sellers to list their properties.
