Calling All Gardeners: Volunteers are needed to assist Colleen Hazen, Gardener for the City of Maple Grove, at the Banquet Garden/ Community Center, West Arbor Lakes Garden and Arboretum. Please call (763) 494-6535 to volunteer.
Explore Our Wonderful Wetlands: Ever wonder what's inside your nearby wetland? Have you wanted to wade in, get your hands wet, and discover the plants and animals that live there? Then we have the opportunity for you. Maple Grove has partnered with Hennepin County Environmental Services to implement the Wetland Health Evaluation Program within our City. Adult volunteers work on a team to study the biological health of Maple Grove wetlands. Training and equipment are provided. Become a citizen biologist! Adopt-a-Street - The Adopt-a-Street program is an opportunity for volunteers to keep Maple Grove's streets clean. Adopt-a-Street, similar to the Adopt-a-Park program, is open to schools, community groups, civic organizations, faith communities, businesses, families and individuals. A two year commitment is required with cleaning to occur three times a year (spring, summer and fall). Participating groups and individuals sign a simple agreement with the City. Bags and vests will be provided for the clean-ups; bags will be removed afterwards by the City. Signs will be erected indicating who has adopted the street. For more or to find out available streets, please call Frank Kampel at (763) 494-6365.

Thanks to all for a great 2008! The support of the community and our customers is truly appreciated. The vendors and market management are looking forward to the upcoming 6th season!
Come June 11, 2009 - Join us outside!
Going into its 6th year, the Maple Grove Farmers Market has become a year-round tradition in the community and northwest metro area. Our theme is "Good Food from Great People", and the focus is connecting customers with the vendors who provide their locally grown/produced items, establishing relationships, and keeping the customers coming back throughout the market season.
What will you find at the Farmers Market?
Note: We are animal lovers and know that you may be too, but please take note that Maple Grove Park Board policies do not allow animals in active park areas, including the Farmers Market.
Products and selection vary throughout the season, so I recommend frequent visits!
