January home sale statistics are out. Quite a variety of homes in the low number closed this month, ranging from a fixer cottage with no foundation that sold for $105,000 to a restored farmhouse on a 40 acre orchard that sold for $943,920. No bank sales this month.
There were 5 home sales in Hood River County for January 2011, compared to 13 home sales last month,December 2010. I have compiled this information directly from the RMLS. It includes listed property sales only-no FSBO's. There are currently 13 homes sale pending in escrow in Hood River County.
