Current Conditions-The Gorge Real Estate Market

I listed a house in Hood River on 8/18/2009. It had an offer in 7 days and closed on 9/11/2009. This was a cash sale. Another recent closing I had was all cash as well. There are buyers here in the gorge and they are making offers.

Listed for $250,000 sold for $240,000 cash at closing

The house pictured above is located in Hood River in a desirable neighborhood near the May St. Elementary School. 3 Bdrm, 2 bath, 1378 sq ft built in 1978 currently has been used as a rental for the last 3 1/2 years.

This cute house is located in the quaint town of Stevenson Washington. It was originally listed for $239,000 Reduced to $225,000 and sold for $209,000-all cash at closing.

If your home is priced correctly you have a better chance you will get an offer. Also making sure your home has curb appeal and is attractive for showings will greatly help.

If you are interested in selling your home I would be happy to do a comparative Market Analysis and discuss the current real estate market with you. Please give me a call at 541-490-1436.
