What is Keller Williams Realty RED DAY?

RED day

"RED Day", an acronym for Renew, Energize and Donate, is a company wide effort dedicated to improving our local communities. Keller Williams associates across the US and Canada will engage in a coordinated effort to donate one day projects, related to renewing and energizing aspects of their local communities on May 14, 2009.

Keller Williams Realty Northeast will be in Galveston, Texas to "Paint the town RED" on May 14th. Keller Williams will be painting in Galveston to help residents and businesses put on a new face after the devastation of Hurricane Ike. Keller Williams Realty Northeast will be supporting the group Help4Galveston.

Keller Williams Realty Northeast will present a free concert at the Kings Harbor Plaza on Friday, April 17th from 7-10 p.m.

The concert will feature music by the 8 Seconds Band and line dancing instruction by Ms. Becca Bell of Stacey’s Dance Studio in Kingwood.

Chimichurri’s will provide an outdoor bar and all the Kings Harbor restaurants will offer food-to-go during the concert. The Kingwood High School Fillies and Kingwood Park High School Silver Stars dance teams will be recognized at the event and provide information about their organizations.

Swim Lessons taught by Texas Aquatics

Swim lessons offered by Texas Aquatics and Pool Services is currently booking swim lessons.

If anyone is interested in swim lessons for their children or themselves this summer please give Emily Hansen a call or send her an email. If you are not interested but know someone who may be please share this information with them. She usually hits the water mid to late April. She is flexible with times, and if she does not have an opening for your availability, she has a wonderful staff of experienced instructors.

Here are the rates:

Fish Camp (M-F) $25/child

Fish Camp” is a 5 day long, daily set of 45 minute swim lessons/workouts for competitive swimmers ages 5-18 years old. The purpose of Fish Camp is to give your child a head start for the upcoming swim season. Fish Camp is not a learn-to-swim class. The cost is $25 per child and there is a 10 child minimum for the class.

Group Lessons (Tues-Fri) $55/child (30 min per day)

“Group Lesson Sessions” are $55 per child and there must be 4 children in the class. This small group of children will work together with the instructor on skills and look to each other for confidence and fun. Some classes may need to be combined to fill sessions or cancelled if a session does not fill up.

Private Lesson ala carte $20/child (30 min)
Semi-private Lesson ala carte $18/child (30 min)
Group Lesson ala carte $15/child (30min)

“Ala Carte Lessons.” You may pay for each lesson one at a time. Private lessons are $20. Semi-Private lessons (2-3 children) are $18 per child. Group Lessons (4 children) are $15 per child. With “Ala Carte Lessons”, TAPS is not responsible for putting together a group. For Semi-private or Group rates, the family will have to put together their own group of children.


At Home Private Lesson $30/child (30 min)
At Home Semi- Private Lesson $28/child (30 min)
At Home Group Lesson $25/child (30 min)

“At Home Lessons.” Sometimes your child just might feel more comfortable swimming at home. Our instructors can come to you! These lessons are also “Ala Carte.” Private Lessons are $30. Semi Private Lessons (2-3 children) are $28 per child. Group Lessons (4 children) are $25 per child.


Mom and Tot Class (T/Th) $75

“Mom and Tot” class is for moms (and dads too) who would like to help their little ones, ages 9 months to 2 years old, learn hands on. Parent and child will get in the water together and the parents, with vocal aid from the instructor, will teach the tots skills such as submersion and holding breath, blowing bubbles, back floats, jumps, pool entries, and kicking. The cost is $75 per Mom (or Pop) and Tot and there is a 10 duo minimum for each class.
