Short Sales is a not a recent selling strategy but it is one that was rarely used when Real Estate Values were increasing - In todays Real Estate Market, many sellers are faced with a problem - they owe more on their home or condo then it will sell for in the current Real Estate market. Just read a report that Fannie Mae has launched a Pilot Program to speed up short sale transactions in Mid-florida. Lets hope this gets expanded to Northeast Florida. One broker in the service area sent in an offer and got a response in a few days.
