History Behind the Event
"As a Real Estate agent, I have encountered numerous clients who are experiencing changes in their lives," said East. "Among those changes are the selling of their residence and relocation to a senior community or assisting living facility."
East is the founder of LifeStyle Transitions, a non-profit organization assisting seniors and their children. In 2006 East took her passion to help seniors to new heights with the launch of the Senior Expo.
"Last year's FREE Expo featured more than 80 vendor booths and displays ranging from medical professionals to retirement living, Medicare/Medicaid and estate planning," said East. "With the support of city and county agencies we drew thousand people from the region."
