I just launched a new blog for the benefit of an out-of-state customer purchasing a home under construction in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Naturally I wanted him to be aware of what was going on throughout the entire process. I hope that it attracts a broad group of readers - Fayettevillians that are interested in what's going on around town, fans of architecture and sustainable living, buyers and sellers who want to learn more about Fayetteville or me. Check it out here.

Today marked the first day of the 35th year of the Fayetteville Farmers' Market! The sidewalks of the downtown square were lined with farmers, artists, musicians, and other vendors displaying their unique wares. The crowd turned out on this sunny - though windy - Saturday morning to show their support. The farmers' market is one of my favorite activities, and I'm so glad it's back!

Without a doubt Northwest Arkansas is one of the best places to live. Need something other than my word on it? Recently Forbes published its "Top College Sports Towns" list. But Forbes makes it clear that its list isn't just about sports; it's about the quality of life in those towns. Fayetteville, Arkansas, home of the University of Arkansas, is #6 on the list of ten.
Read the entire Forbes article or see a longer collection of "best of'" lists on my blog.
