For those of you who are new to blogging on Active Rain, MeMe's are our little "Getting to Know You" ritual. They come in all shapes and sizes. And here's another:
James Downing tagged me for this MeMe. And my targeted list of seven will follow. Here are all of the ground rules that need to be followed:
1. Create a blog post with a link to the person who so happily tagged you. See above!
2. List all of these rules in the post. Feel free to cut and paste this.
3. Share seven things that others may not know about you. Do I or have I HAD a life outside of real estate?
4. Identify seven friends, contacts or near enemies in which to adorn this MEME. Tag them at the end of the post and give a link to their blog.
5. Contact each of the tagged members and let them know that you were indeed fast enough to catch them and that you did indeed tag them...no matter how much they say you missed them! No schoolyard rules in this MEME, nope you gotta do it if you are tagged. Sorry guys!
Seven Things You May Not Know About Anthony Clark:
1) I have a scar above my left eye from my childhood; my older brother pushed me down a flight of stairs in our home. He hasn't tried to kill me in the 20+ years since. Whew.
2) Prior to real estate I was a merchandising manager for a national retailer. I loved the challenge of the job, but hated the hours!
3) My fondest childhood memories are visiting my grandmother in Rockford, Illinois. I have LOTS of cousins and she had a big 2-story home with a finished basement - that meant TWO flights of stairs to play on. There was usually snow on the ground when we visited too; that's something special to a kid from the South.
4) Before switching to business I was an architecture major in college. I have always loved design! I knew pretty quickly I didn't want to be an architect, but my interest for all things architecture still thrives.
5) I have never broken a bone.
6) I have an outside blog at moveNWA.com.
7) I love to be part of a cause. I probably should have joined the Peace Corps or something like that. Currently I am working with a fledgling not-for-profit: NWA Center for Equality.

Regardless of your political ideologies, the one thing we all can agree on is that this next general election is one of the most important in years. The deadline to register to vote in Arkansas is 30 days prior to an election. That means you must be registered by Monday, October 6th in order to vote in the November 4th general election. There are several ways to register including visiting your county clerk's office or by going to Rock the Vote. For more information on registration visit the Secretary of State's website.
On November 4th you must vote. Period.

Arguably the most anticipated residential development in Northwest Arkansas history, the Lofts at Underwood Plaza is nearing completion. For the first time today the general public was invited in to tour the building and see the progress. For those of you who were too devastated by the Razorbacks' loss to join us at Underwood Plaza today, I took some photos for your enjoyment. Please keep in mind that this is not the finished product, but a good representation of what these luxury condos will look like upon completion. For more information, a private tour, or our information center hours contact me anytime!

I woke bright and (somewhat) early this morning to do one of my very favorite activities - go to the Fayetteville Farmers' Market. The market is open Saturday mornings on the downtown square from 7am - 1pm starting in early April and running through late November. The market is also open in the Mill District on Thursdays from 4pm - 7pm with a slightly shorter season. As you can tell from the photos below, there is a diverse offering at the market including fresh produce & flowers, performers, crafts, and ready to eat food.

This is just one reason Fayetteville is a great place to call home!

Introducing the Monterey! Just a half block from the University of Arkansas campus in beautiful Fayetteville, Arkansas, the Monterey is home to the region's newest condominium conversions. Built in 1926, the Monterey has housed a green tea room, a dance hall, efficiency apartments, and more. Now the structure is being brought into the future by fulfilling its potential as eight luxury condos.
For more information on the condos themselves including finishes and building amenities (and an exterior photo of how the stucture appears today) visit the full post at moveNWA.com
