Will & Alyson's 1st Day of Preschool!

Last Wednesday, my son, Will, and my daughter, Alyson, attended their first day of preschool for 2008! Will went last year to the 2 year old program, but this was Aly's first day ever! It was an exciting day that started at Mac's Breakfast Anytime in Seven Lakes. Then, we headed to the school. Aly marched into her classroom, unaware that she was being left there, and started playing with the toys. Will however, aware of his fate, did not want us to leave him. He knows how to lay on a guilt trip, but the teacher's say he forgets about us the minute we leave.

I know this is the first of many first days of school and I am eternally grateful that I get to enjoy them now because I know the time will fly by and soon I'll be an empty nester wondering where the time has gone! Can you believe I'm thinking about that when my kids are just 2 & 3 years old?

It's a Beautiful Easter in Seven Lakes...

If you're stuck in the snow up north, consider moving to an area where the weather is beautiful almost every day of the year! We're getting ready to celebrate Easter and spent the day at a local egg hunt here in Seven Lakes West. It was 75 degrees and sunny. The kids had a blast and the adults seemed to be enjoying themselves too! After the egg hunt, we took the boat out on Lake Auman and cruised around the lake looking at all the beautiful homes on this thousand acre, spring-fed lake. What an amazing day. Pictures to come later...
