With the new storefront coming soon to Old Town Scottsdale, I will be able to carry a few more brands of furniture - so now, my dilemma is, "Which ones..?!?!". I have limited floor/display space, but can carry a few more that have stricter retail requirements. If it's not on the showroom floor, I can still order from their wholesale catalogs, though!

COMING JULY '09 - "ARGENT DECOR - THE STORE" TO OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE!
My dad is in Grand Rapids, MI, enjoying the fact that my mom went to visit HER dad, thus leaving him alone at the house to watch the Tigers in his underwear. It stinks that my parents don't live here, but as soon as they can sell their house (HA!) they will move to Phoenix - especially since my sister is pregnant w/baby #2 out here.
So without MY dad here, I'm going to the future in-laws' for a bbq - I heard something about steak on the grill, and cold beers by the pool. Sounds like a plan to me!

COMING IN JULY - "ARGENT DECOR - THE STORE" IN OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE!
On the side - and for fun - my fiance and I do restaurant shops. We've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly so far as food, service, atmosphere, cleanliness, you name it! We hardly ever go out "just to go out" any more, as I get 1-2 restaurant shops per wk.
Tonight, one of our very good "couple" friends were free, which is a rarity, as she works nights. She suggested "Roaring Fork" just north of Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. None of us had been before, but she had heard great things.
All I can say is, "GO! NOW!!!". The decor was flawless; the food was better. I had the "fish of the day" which was Halibut steak over cilantro lime rice, with a corn puree and avocado salad. A new dish we all tried and loved was deep fried avocado topped with crab - AMAZING! Everyone raved about the food, atmosphere, and even pricing- this is an Eddie V's restaurant, but the guys had 3 course meals for $25 each(!).
They have a large patio as well as an indoor dining room, and areas for special occasions/group parties.
