Ever had a bad hair day? Or worse - a bad haircut? I mean a REALLY bad one? Well, so have I, and I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you about a very talented stylist by the name of Kristy Tregaskes ("Kris") who has come to my rescue on more than one occasion. She is a Master Stylist, a title she has earned after having been a licensed stylist for more than 10 years. Kris continually takes classes to ensure she is on the forefront of the latest and greatest in cut and color trends, in addition to traveling to other salons in Scottsdale and all over the valley to provide other stylists with training opportunities, during which she is able to share some her industry expertise with her peers. Kris is a lefty, oringally hailing from Indianapolis, IN. She moved to Scottsdale approximately 7 years ago, and has since been working out of the hippest, most happenin' salons in Scottsdale. Currently, Kris gives magnificent cut and color treatments within the fours walls of the classy and sophisticated Le Bella Salon and Medspa. The salon is located in the heart of Scottsdale at the corner of Scottsdale Road and Shea Blvd.

ATTENTION GENTLEMEN! I know this hair stuff is somewhat less than amusing to most of you, so if you choose to stop reading now, I won't blame you; however, before you do that I want to let you know that Kris does excellent men's haircuts as well as color - thanks for hangin' in there, and now please feel free to jump to a more masculine blog post if you are so inclined ;)

Kris is an unassuming stylist, who is happy to give reccomendations if requested, but who will not impose her own personal sense of artistry upon your head unless you ask her to - it's always such a great experience to have Kris give me a haircut or change my color, because she will do exactly as I ask her to (within reason, of course) but she also has a terrific sense of style and always has a little something up her sleeve for those times when I just want something fun and a bit different... And as I mentioned before, she has definitely saved me from some "hairy"situations, including box color mishaps (we've all had those, haven't we ladies?), emergency bathroom surgery that I performed on my own bangs... with manicure scissors (See previous paranthetical notation. Oh come on! I can't be the only one who has tried to cut my bangs with manicure scissors, can I?), and she has even taken me from jet black tresses to honey golden locks - and back again - without causing my hair to fall out of my scalp. They don't call her a "Master Stylist" for no reason! Take my word for it, Kris is the best hair stylist in Scottsdale!

Kris works her magic from her private corner booth in Le Bella Salon, where she does perfect precision cuts and color like you wouldn't believe. She is an incredibly sweet-spirited person, with an open ear if you're the talkative type or an offering of the latest magazine releases stacked high if you're not.
