The temperature is rising (38+) and I am ready to sit on my front porch with glass of wine to watch the sunset, but Dave prefers sitting in front of the fireplace.
How can you resist this view of the sunset?
PS I think the football play-offs were a major factor here . . . Oh, well, look what he was missing. Glad you were here to enjoy the sunset with me.

Perk Up a Winter Day with FLOWERS
Snow or no snow it is still January, the middle of winter. It might be a bit warmer than usual here in the northeast, but it is still winter and we know that snow is on its way again.
Flowers are one of the best 'pick-me-ups' so I put together this spring flower arrangement for all to enjoy.

Full moon was yesterday so the following morning it sets just before the sun rises. Warm temps and no snow on this January morning. Just perfect for long walk down my country road.

Noon-Timer Toastmasters: The Evaluator Role
If you truly want to improve your speaking and leadership skills, you must learn how to give and receive helpful evaluations. Once you have attended a few Toastmasters meetings and given two or more speeches yourself you are ready to serve as an evaluator for another speaker.
Like a good speech an evaluation should have three parts: introduction, body and conclusion.
Reminder: As you approach the front of the room look directly at the speaker as you give your evaluation and SMILE.
