Hallow Ground: American flag marks location of Flight 93 crash

Mementos left by other visitors at make-shift memorial at edge of field. Barely a whisper was heard even as a bus load of visitors arrived.
Out of respect for the victims only family members are allowed to walk across field to the exact spot where Flight 93 went down.
Photos taken three years ago, but it feels like yesterday. Shanksville is only 15 miles off the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Take a detour to pay homage to those brave heros of Flight 93

Holidays are a great opportunity to spend time with family. No matter what we do we have FUN, but being aboard Grandpa's boat, US'N TWO, is even better.

The kids and grandkids enjoyed sleeping on the boat even through the thunderstorm. Poor Oliver paced back & forth.
PS Dave & I were happy to drive home to our king size bed and AC. But everyone arrived for fruit and bagels in the morning.
