A house in The Retreat was the highest property sold in all of 2008 in South Walton County Florida. It is 6,167 sq.ft with 4 bedrooms 4/2 baths that sits majestically looking over the Gulf of Mexico. It sold for $6,000,000 in April of 2008.
The thing that I find interesting is that while the highest sale in South Walton County Florida last year was $6 million and the market has dropped in value since it sold in April there are still 11 properties currently for sale and priced at more that $6 million.
