Nori Muster

A series of computer classes - beginner to intermediate - will start August 3, and continue each Monday and Tuesday through August. The instructor, Nori Muster, was a website designer for eight years before going into real estate. Learn the essential websites for the real estate business in the State of Arizona, and learn the options for getting a website. Find out what makes a website work, and learn to read html code. The classes will take place at the US Preferred Realty Agent Development Center, 1255 W. Baseline Rd. B-135, Mesa, Arizona. DIRECTIONS: take the Mesa/Globe freeway (60) toward Mesa, exit at Alma School Rd., go south to Baseline. The red brick building is in a business park behind businesses on the southwest corner. Entrances are located along Baseline and also along Alma School. The classroom is located on the ground floor, inside the courtyard near the north east area of the building. Internet 101
Monday August 3, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Learn to use the Internet effectively. An overview of essential websites for doing business as a Realtor in the State of Arizona. Find out what the sites are and how to use them, how to keep track of username/password data, and how to work with tech support.

Website Options
Tuesday August 4, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Learn your options and responsibilities when it comes to getting a website. This class will explain how to get a free website, as well as how to register a domain name and set up a site.

Website Mechanics
Monday August 10, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
[class will be repeated Monday August 24, same time.]
Look under the hood of a website to find out what makes it tick. You will learn how to find source code, insert a link, add a photo, set the title, and add meta headers. If someone else manages your site, this class will make you a more effective partner for your webmaster. If you manage your own site, this is a prerequisite to Advanced Website Mechanics.

Advanced Website Mechanics
Tuesday August 11, 4:30 - 6:30

Learn to read and write HTML, hyper text markup language, the most common language of the Internet. The class will also describe other computer languages used on web sites. Prerequisite: Website Mechanics or instructor approval.
