Walkability of a neighborhood rates higher than views, new kitchens, and access to freeways in the minds of many buyers. This trend, when whittled down to its essence is really about location. Where neighborhoods have their own Chocolaterie, locally owned coffee shops, unique restaurants, parks, and organic food markets, there are likely to be young families, decent schools and interesting people as neighbors.
