I get asked on a regular basis what the sale price of a property was. This is because there is no easy way for the public to access this information in a timely fashion. If you would like me to continue to post this data on a regular basis, please comment below.
Collier Real Estate Transactions: June 10, 2008 (links to Naples Daily News)
Wednesday, June 11, 2008 Recent deed transactions from the Collier County Clerk of Courts office.
For those of you who may have an interest in what's happening in Downtown Naples, you may want to read the latest Naples News article on the parcel that was to be "Renaissance Village" located just across Goodlette Road from Bayfront.
Whatever ultimately happens to that prime parcel of land, it will most certainly impact the adjacent real estate. Since Bayfront is located right across the street, the developer, who controls the retail ground level, as well as the residential owners, will want a say if the City of Naples makes an offer to Jack Antaramian. Without saying, the Naples City residents who will foot the bill, will obviously want their opinions heard loud and clear. Will "Renaissance Village" move forward? Supposedly so but just at a later date. It will be interesting to watch how this one plays out.
For fun, don't forget to read the comments that follow the article and feel free to add your own. Feel free to leave me a comment as well, especially if you have any inside info.
Just about every Sunday, I hold one of my listings open for inspection. Some of them are busy, some not so much. Along with giving me time to catch up on emails and the Naples real estate market, I get a chance to feel the pulse of the buying public. Recently, because our season is basically behind us, the number of visitors have become fewer but the intent a little more serious. Awhile back I wondered if we had hit bottom in Naples. Seems we have not but are getting closer. With every passing week, I hear more people express their desire to buy something soon because prices are very tempting right now . Most people also realize that it's tough to time markets. I'm looking forward to hearing the loud "ouch" when real estate prices finally bottom out. That sound has to be just around the corner.
