In fact, I have recently earned the designation of "Quality Service Certified". This extra training and my commitment to excellence will be the reason that you will use my services again and again! I am certified by an independent rating agency which helps to facilitate quality control in my business. This agency surveys my clients then provides me with feedback about my strengths and weaknesses. The "satisfaction rating" that is compiled from these surveys is posted on the internet. I would not participate in this Quality Certification process, if I did not intend to do my best for you throughout the process of listing and selling your home.

About me:

I grew up in Denver but have lived in many areas throughout the state. I earned a certificate in Non-Profit Business Management at Metro State College at Auraria in Downtown Denver and received a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology at the Auraria Campus as well. I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder and earned a degree in Psychology. After Boulder, I lived in Longmont, Lafayette, Broomfield, Salida and now call Colorado Springs my home. I've worked both professionally and as a volunteer with people with disabilities, as well as working as a nuclear medicine technologist. In 1997 I started a non-profit agency in Salida Colorado to assist people who are elderly and disabled with transportation and other support services. Although both of my children have passed away, I am still occasionally contacted by my foster children who are now grown(I had eight). I started my real estate career after loosing my husband (of 21 years in 2002) and wanting a new direction in life. I am finding that helping people find the home of their dreams is truly a rewarding experience, and my clients are quickly filling my new circle of friends. Besides buying and selling several of my own homes, I have bought and sold several rentals and manged my own units for over 21 years. I really love living in "the Springs" and am enjoying all the wonderful restaurants, parks and other attractions. It's a great place to live and work.

As I strive to maintain excellence in my business, I continue to take classes to update my knowledge and skills. I have become a certified luxury home specialist and stay on top of what is available in our area in the upper price ranges for the most discriminating buyers. I am also Quality Service Certified and will provide both buyers and sellers a written commitment with the assurance that I will provide "what I say I will". I will develop a personalized Quality Service plan in order to deliver service that is consistent, reliable, responsive and accountable. My latest certification is from the National Association of Realtors and I have earned the title of Senior Real Estate Specialist, SRES. No mater what your real estate needs may be, I am qualified and available to assist you.

Being a Senior Real Estate Specialist does not mean that I exclude working with younger folks. In fact I have found that the listening skills and patience needed to work with older people are basically the same ones necessary to help first time buyers. It's all about focus. I am finding that when I simply focus on doing my best for my clients they refer me to their friends and family, and my business in turn continues to grow.
