Purcellville Homes and Purcellville Townhouses/Real Estate Market Improving in 2012?

For owners and residents of Purcellville Homes, Purcellville Townhouses or Purcellville Real Estate, 2012 is bringing some changes to the real estate market and the community. With 2011 behind us and the Purcellville Gateway taking shape residents should be able to take advantage of new shopping in the over 60,000 square-foot commercial development at the intersection of Route 287 and business 7. The long awaited opening of Harris Teeter should occur sometime early this year; this with the expansion of the Loudoun Valley Shopping Center will certainly change the look and feel of downtown Purcellville. With the 2012 completion of these projects the area should be more appealing to people looking to buy Purcellville Homes or Purcellville Townhouses.

Purcellville Gateway

Sales of Purcellville Homes and Purcellville Townhouses over the last year were down significantly when compared to 2010 however the average sold price for Purcellville homes and Purcellville townhouses remained fairly flat with not much loss of value. In town, the Purcellville homes and Purcellville townhouses located in Hirst Farm, Purcellville Ridge and Village Case were the most active. Purcellville Homes in Village Case are currently listed from $379000 to $565000. Interest rates continue to be some of the lowest in history. Unfortunately there is some uncertainty in the future. Now more than ever it is important to have a good lender partner as we do at Loudoun County Living to guide you through the process if you are considering Purvellville Homes or Purcellville Townhouses. For more information contact, Jeff Richards, NMLS# - 483537, of First Home Mortgage.

If you are considering buying a home or townhouse in Purcellville now is the time before interest rate start up and reduce your buying power.
