I am going to start a series on Fairdale Kentucky, it is a small town to the south of Louisville Kentucky. It is now part of Louisville, some refer it to part of the southend. In the series I will try to show some of the local subdivisions and gathering places, businesses. places of worship, parks, and schools. Even though it is part of such a big city, Fairdale still manages to hold on to its small town charm. I have lived most of my life here ( except for my time in the army) along with my two brothers and one of my sisters. I know I wont be able to do it justice but here is my attempt. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I will enjoy writing it.
