You can help raise money for homeless families in PA & NJ by writing reviews for businesses on Insider Pages. You will need to create an account on Insider Pages with your email address and a password. I read the article below from This Old House about single women home buyers. I thought it was interesting and wanted to share it with you.

I am in the process of developing a DIY blog for women. As I mentioned in my previous post, I have become a consultant for TomBoy Tools and am I passionate about helping women with DIY projects and feel the blog will complement the tools and toolkits made for women by TomBoy. If anyone is interested in authoring blogs for Womens DIY projects let me know. Once I get the new blog site up and running I will post the URL.
10% of my proceeds from the sale of TomBoy tools will go to Deserving Decor, a non profit helping homeless families in Southeastern PA.

Are you familiar with TomBoy Tools for Women? Ergonomically designed tools created especially for women. Have a ladies night with a TomBoy Party! Anyone who uses tools from a screwdriver or drill to a mitre saw will love these products. And your husband won't steal them!
It is also a great way for stagers to earn extra income during slow times. I would love to sponsor anyone who is interested in becoming a Consultant for TomBoy Tools.
TomBoy supports Breast Cancer by donating a portion of the sale of their pink tools and also supports non-profits by providing 20% of sales to 501(c)3 charities. A lot more fun then selling magazine subcriptions and helping other women in the process!

| Deserving Decor Furnishing Homes for Families in Crisis |
![]() |
This is an opportunity for you to give back and make a difference in the lives of local families in crisis. These families, primarily women and children, are only miles away from our comfortable, warm homes, and are struggling to keep themselves from living on the street. Through Deserving Décor, we create a "home" for these families as they try to regain their financial independence.
Deserving Décor is a non-profit organization that supports the Bucks County Housing Group Laurel House and additional non-profits and families by furnishing transitional apartments for families without a place to call home. We are your neighbors -- a group of local decorators and home stagers that volunteer their time and talents to make magical makeovers. As apartments are vacated, we bring in a team of volunteers to clean, repair and redecorate the units with donated and thrift store items. We believe that having a clean and welcoming environment -- a physical, as well as, emotional haven -- will inspire them to see a future full of potential.
Families may stay up to six months as they receive social services support. Since they can take furnishings with them to help them furnish a new place of their own, the need for furniture, children's equipment, and household items is ongoing.
Deserving Decor is seeking support of local businesses and private philanthropists to help expand this valuable service.
In the past year, since we have been in business, we have grown tremendously and went from supporting one shelter to six. In addition, we have expanded to Chester and Montgomery Counties in, PA and additional counties in NJ are in the works. We now have four storage facilities to house donated items. Donated funds will go toward storage of donated furnishings, purchasing second hand furnishings, labor costs for moving furnishings, cleaning, and maintenance services.
Thank you -- we hope we can count on your support. An easy way to donate is via credit card on www.deservingdecor.org or send checks to the address below.
