Hey all! I did a Broker Tour of all the New Mercedes Homes last week. It was Great! I visited Mill Creek Falls, Crystal Lakes, Back Creek Church & Silver Run. They are located in York & Lancaster County South Carolina. They have alot of move in ready homes with some incredible deals for customers. They are offer New Homes and Condo's for $131,500 +. They took the time and put in alot of extras. Mouldings galore, open floor plans, tons of closets, coffered and tray ceilings, wainscoting halls, chair rails. I really like the models and they have monthly specials. Until may 31 they offered free granite, stainless steel, tile backsplash and 42" cabinets. I'm not sure what Junes specials are yet. If you are looking for a new home in the under 275k range you should definetly check out these homes. I'd love to show them to you anytime. Agents should really check these out good bonus' as well.

I i just have to write and say what a great day I had Saturday out on Lake Wylie South Carolina. It was just beautiful. My son took his boat out for the first time and we all jumped in. My 15 year old son was so proud as he had been saving his money for two years to buy this little used boat. We all had to take our shoes off as it might get it dirty (lol). We was the captain and we had to listen. The weather was hot and sunny. There were white puffy clouds galore. The water was very warm. We spent hours trolling around and occasionally fishing. The fish weren't biting, but it was amazing. I think we should all go out occasionally and enjoy the lake. I think people get tied up in there everyday lives and forget what else is out there. I was sitting in this boat watching my two small daughters look into the water and wonder what is down there. They kept saying oh I see a fish. I'm not sure there really was one but that's what little kids do and they were having a blast. Then the geese and ducks rolled off shore. It was so relaxing watching all the fowl show there new babies how to swim. I wished we had brought some bread to feed them. They would dive under and eat some of the vast minnows you could see. The Realtor in me came out as I viewed the Gorgeous homes that sit on Lake Wylie. I watched as people sat around there back yards with all there friends and family. There were barbeque's and parties going on. People would walk down their back yard and jump in there boat or jet ski and take off for sunset ride. I couldn't help but think, oh I so want one of those houses. What fun that would be to see this everyday and live here too. There are all sorts of houses on the water as you don't realize until you are on the water side of things. There are houses you think "oh my just tear that thing down" and then " Oh My God who lives there! Did you see that! Isn't that Marble? WOW!" Then there is the casual functional home that's still breath taking (that's what I would want). The market has changed alot of home prices and some of these homes are even now affordable to the average family of 8 like mine. Well I'm going to start looking but for now Relax time. We sat in our little boat getting bumped and tossed by all the big boats and said wow this is great! Then as the sun started to set, black rain clouds came in. We wondered if we would make it back without getting soaked. We never did get rain but there were two incredible rainbows that spread right out over the lake. It was just breath taking! We finally docked the boat after 15 or so tries (first time boater remember). We then took a nice dinner at T-Bones. This was my first time there and it was nice. It was a weekend and Memorial Day but we got right in as the people there are so nice, and efficient. The place was swarming. People from all over were there. I know now this must be "The place to go" on Lake Wylie. I had an awesome dinner even sticking to my diet plans with a artichoke, tomato Chicken (very good). They have a large variety on the menu in case you don't like chicken and want a steak or fish. My daughters loved the Deco. There is alot of Taxidermy and collectibles on the walls. It was hard not to look and point "hey cool check that out". They even had a life size stuffed Kodiak Bear!! Well it was dark now and time call it a day. I will remember this day for a long time and so will my kids. This is what life is about.
So this morning I turn on my computer to see ABC News Reporting US Government will hit an all time record high level of Debt. 13 Trillion Dollars!! What is America coming to? Everyday I ask myself where is our country going? I listen to the news and flip back and fourth channels and it's all the same. We spend money like it's water. I am a mother of 4 + 2 step children. My children will be paying for a study of bats or birds being hit by wind turbines for their entire life. I ask why? Why are my kids or yours responsible for this reckless spending. When is someone going to do something about this. I teach my kids to be accountable for their mistakes. I teach them thrifty spending and how to save money. What is the since if they will work there entire life to pay for something that they will never see or benefit from. I ask when is this all going stop. I know I couldn't go out and spend 13 Trillion Dollars if I didn't have it. Why is our government? People we pay to watch over and protect us. We are paying them for this service. I say no Thanks! I'm better off without them! I think I can spend my own money and might be able to see some benefits from it that will actually effect my family and myself. How do you feel? Am I wrong?
