In honor of Earth Day and to share knowledge about the state of the Lafayette and Elizabeth River Watersheds, the Friends of Norfolks Environment are partnering with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, the Elizabeth River Project, Wild River OUtfitters, Kayak Nature Tours, and the Norfolk Parks and Rec Department to bring 100 paddles to the waters. I have participated 2 of the 3 previous tours and it is a ball! Lots of good information, plus time spent on the water is great! Here are some images from the 2008 River ride.
