These are market statistics per the Toledo Board of Realtors ending December 31, 2007
Total Listings taken for 2006 =18658
Total Listings taken for 2007 = 17990
Total sold units for 2006 = 8254
Total sold units for 2007 = 7426
Total added to inventory for 2007 = 10564
In conclusion: New lising inventory has declined 3.58%, and purchase sales have declined 10.03% from 2006 to 2007.
Average sale price in Northwest Ohio has fallen from $130,999 to $124079 for the Fiscal year starting January 1 and ending December 31, 2007.
Our market seems to be really heating up over the last four weeks January 15 to February 18, 2008. Market Forecast is that this market will greatly improve by April or May and that we may actually see a shortage of homes for potential buyers.
The toledo area has addend another state of the Art Workout facility to it's already great list of facilities. It is located on Holland-Sylvania near Central Avenue and another is to be added just about 10 miles from there in the Maumee/Monclova area!
This is just another great feather in the cap of our great area. We already have a lot of facilities for all different people. We have Lifestyles for Ladies Only if that is what you prefer. We have Wildwood Workout facilities which is excellent and only six years old with all state of the art equipment. There are three Bally's in the area. The Y's do a fantastic job as well.
But we also have several smaller work out type facilities that specialize in personal training, Yoga, Spinning, Tennis and so on.
Toledo Metro Parks have a beautiful Biking/walking/running trail that 8.2 miles long and ends at the University of Toledo-which has yet again Beautiful workout facilities tha can be joined by the Public.
This all goes to show that Toledo Metropolitan Area is on the cutting edge of "staying healthy"...
