Starting on Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17 , we'll be at the Auburn Home Show at The Gold Counrty Fair Grounds in support of our builder/friend! Mike Russell of Russell Construction has a booth and will be sharing all the beautiful work he does and has been doing in Placer County for years now. Come on by to say hi. I wanted to report back to you to let you know what a great time we had. Everything turned out great. The food, mocktails (yes, mocktails), the auction and raffle was wonderful. The decorations were really nice. The music by Shameless was really good. You can hire them by contacting them at dimcadd@gmail.com. They actually played a song by The Eagles. Made my night! The kids came in to help and serve some of their community time. They were so helpful and were a little shocked when they asked me how much I get paid for doing this and I said nothing. I told them it was for them. The kitchen became completely quiet. I am so happy to have met all my new friends while attending the Leadership class and doing this project together. Life is busy but I hope to keep in contact with them. It's been an experience I will never forget.
Everybody is welcome! PCAR Leadership Class is supporting Placer County Peer Court! Our fundraiser will be on March 14th, from 7-11 at PCAR in Rocklin. Tickets are $25.00 per person. You can also contact me or somebody else you know in the class to buy raffle tickets. Raffle tickets are $10.00 for a stretch from nose to fingertip. You don't need to be there to win. The big raffle prize is a diamond tennis bracelet worth approx. $1300.00. Dinner is Corned Beef & Cabbage. Enjoy music, silent auction and much more. Friday night was our Christmas Party. We had a lot of great food and some special guests. Santa Claus came by for a visit. The adults and kids were thrilled. The young at heart were also invited to sit on his lap and tell him what we wanted for Christmas. One request was a closed escrow! Thanks Jack & Jane. We all would like the same. I caught Santa turn into jelly when he was craddling a three week old little boy. At that point, you knew what Christmas was all about. May the spirit of Christmas be with all of you. Have a wonderful time with your family and friends. Merry Christmas.
