Enthusiastic About Oxford County
Bettianne Hedges has been a resident of Woodstock for 13 years and is the mother of three sons.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Philosophy and an emphasis in Management from the University of Waterloo. She has taught business and marketing at Fanshawe College periodically since 1989. Bettianne is the former owner of The Taylor Gallery and was the 1999 recipient of Woodstock Chamber of Commerce's Retailer of the Year Award. Prior to choosing a career in real estate she was most recently a District Branch Manager with the Canadian Red Cross. She is currently the Broker/Sales Manager of RE/MAX a-b Realty in Woodstock and has just become certified to teach Buffini courses.
Bettianne is an active community volunteer lending her skills and enthusiasm to a variety of Oxford agencies and projects. She is a Grant Review Team Member with the Ontario Trillium Foundation and is a fundraiser and Allocations Committee Member with the United Way of Oxford. Bettianne is a past Director of the Woodstock-Ingersoll & District Real Estate Board. She also teaches sales and marketing to visual arts at the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre. In 2009, Bettianne will produce The Vagina Monologues benefitting Women's Emergency Centre-Oxford.
In her many roles, Bettianne actively works to improve the quality of life in Woodstock and Oxford County.
