Malvern’s Victorian Christmas
Malvern PA - Friday, 12/2, and Saturday, 12/3, Malvern’s Victorian Christmas!
On Friday at 6:00 in Burke Park, come to light the Town Tree. Afterwards, enjoy special musical performances throughout town, strolling street performers, children’s shows, horse & carriage rides, a hayride and more. New this year will be a performance by the Philadelphia Boys’ Choir. Santa Claus will hear the wishes of all children under the pavilion at Burke Park.
On Saturday, holiday-themed workshops will take place throughout town for both adults and children. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Malvern Federal Savings Bank from 11–2pm where people can also make a holiday craft and enjoy refreshments.
Don’t miss the free horse and carriage rides and hayride from 10am-1pm! Carriage rides board in front of Sheffield Furniture on King Street; the hayride boards in the Malvern Federal Saving Bank parking lot.
This festival is a great time to finish your Christmas shopping from the unique and special stores in Malvern. Start at the shopping center and walk down King Street for a short six blocks and you’ll find almost everything you need in the way of gifts!
Now in its 33rd year, the Mars Drinks Old Fashioned Christmas Parade in West Chester. The 1-mile parade route travels through the heart of the historic business district.
More than 30,000 spectators closely line the route, much like an experience on "Main Street USA." Santa Claus will make an appearance in the parade and 19 marching bands from around the area.
Come out and joy the day at this years Victory Brewing's FallFest on Sunday October 2nd, Noon - 4 PM
The free to attend event features live music, a BMX aerial show.
Downingtown FallFest is scheduled to have 92 vendors and takes place on Lancaster Avenue in downtown Downingtown between Wallace Avenue and Green Street.
The FallFest event will feature excellent eats from local restaurants and thethe Victory Beer Garden
Starting from 1pm and again at 3pm, the Free Cycle Action Sports Team will be performing their Big Air Show.
Diections:
From the PA Turnpike: Exit 312/Downingtown. Go south on Rt. 100 to Rt. 113 South. Make a right onto Rt. 113 South continue to a “T” intersection. Make a right onto Business Rt. 30 (Lancaster Ave). Go two blocks to traffic light. Follow event signs for parking.
From Philadelphia: Take Rt. 202 South. Take Rt. 30 Bypass West to Business Rt. 30 (Lancaster Ave. Exit). Make left onto Bus. Rt. 30 West. Travel about 4 miles straight into Downingtown. Follow event signs for parking.
From Wilmington: Take Rt. 202 North. Get off at Rt. 322 West Exit. Follow Rt. 322 West into Downingtown. Proceed through traffic light at intersection of 322 and Boot Rd. Once through the light, follow event signs for parking.
