Below is an example of how to use the Millage Rate formula:

$100,000 (market value of the home)
x .15 or 15% without homestead
and .10 or 10% with homestead

Then you move the decimal over 2 spaces to the thousandths so a $100,000 home would be multiplied by 15% to give you $15,000. When you move the decimal over three places it equals 15.000. You multiply the 15.0 by the millage rate 111.96 which equals $1679.40 for the year.
