Contact the Broker if your home is not selling!
Keep in mind under Georgia law, your home is listed with a Brokerage firm and it's principal Broker, not a Real Estate Agent. The Broker is the person that you need to contact to address any concerns or complaints you may have concerning your property. If the Broker is not willing to assist you, you need to find another Broker. The Agent cannot do anything the Broker does not approve, including negotiating commissions or any other accomodation you may require. Why not just go ahead and talk to the decision maker instead of an Agent that does not have the authority to make concessions or changes
What is empowerment and what can it mean to you?
As a Broker with over 35 years experience in this area and one that has seen markets ebb and flow throughout my career, I am constantly amazed at the shortsightedness of most Brokers! The average Broker is inflexible in their approach about what YOUR time is worth and sets unrealistic requirements that you are required to comply with.
My approach is one of "empowerment and support"! I empower all of my Sales Associates to feel free to set whatever listing or sales commission they feel is appropriate to a specific situation. This flexibility is coupled with a high level of individual support provides my associates with the tools and the flexibility to succeed and prosper. All of this is done without any desk, franchise, or Realtor fees to burden them. When money is made, we share! When money is not being made the charges to agents are non-existent.
Why should one have to pay when they are not making money? I don't know, perhaps you do!
