This afternoon I was browsing on the Internet and read an article featured in today's NewsOK about my town of Yukon, Oklahoma.
There is no new 'discoveries' given in it but it is always nice to read good stuff about my community. For the last few years Yukon experienced a tramendous growth. And of course with it, it attracts more and more residents and business.
Just a few days ago I wrote 10 Top Reasons to Live in Yukon, OK in my blog.
Yukon is growing but it still has that feel of a small town, which is really appealing to lots of people. "Part of the city’s growth has come from the decades-long movement to the suburbs. But Yukon City Manager Jim Crosby said residents also appreciate the city’s "small-town atmosphere” and easy access to shopping and transportation in nearby Oklahoma City."
Here is the article in its entirety: "Yukon keeps drawing new residents. Population 'Small-town atmosphere' is appealing..."by Paul Monies
