Even though it's the end of September, it's not too late to remind you that it is Naitonal Indoor Toxic Mold Awareness Month. As a real estate agent, I've seen the unfortunate damage that mold can do to your home. Mold Awareness Month was established by the Environmental Protection Agency to educate home owners about the negative financial and health related effects of indoor molds and toxins. Mold can be prevented and treated by paying attention to the details of a home. For tips and more information, you can visit CertainTeed Corporation's website at certainteed.com.

It's beautiful fall weather here now in the Pocono Mountains, and one way to enjoy some fresh air is to head to the Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm. It is a non-profit, educational corporation preserving Pennsylvania's agricultural heritage. It is located just outside Stroudsburg, on Quiet Valley Road. With over 100 acres, many historic buildings, farm animals and activities, you're sure to learn quite a bit of how life used to be on a small Pennsylvania farm in the 1800's.
