365 Things to Do in the Salt Lake Area: Get Ready for SUNDANCE Film Festival. Yes its that time of year again. Unfortunately we have missed all the preticket sales. Now we must all wait for the official ticket sales to begin on January 17th. Mark your calendars, set your icalendar or google reminders this year will have plenty of entertainment and great talent to offer everyone who attends.
Sundance started in 1981 when Robert Redford gathered a group of talented friends and colleges. He knew there was a need and boy was he right. Sundance now features 200 films with an average of 50,000 people visiting the area during the 10 days of showings. Even if you don't get in to see any of the shows, hanging out in Park City with all the visitors is a great way to pass some time!

365 Things To Do In The Salt Lake Area: The Hogle Zoo.
Yes I am a fan of going to the zoo in the winter.
Its time to bundle up, the majority of visitors go when the weather is nice or during the Hogle Zoo's annual zoo lights. I'm a fan of sneaking in during the off seasons.
During the off season the animals are out more, its cooler and this year its not even that cold out. We've had a really warm winter and no snow. So take an afternoon and go visit the Hogle Zoo.
You'll be glad you did.
