The 4th of July celebration in Boston is always a treat. 
Its a tradition to have a concert at the Esplanade on the banks of The Charles River featuring a concert by the Boston Pops, each year there is a featured guest artist. This year it was Neil Diamond, What a show!
This wonderful tradition of celebrating our nations birthday with a parade- in this case its called "the Horribles parade" every year with a different theme. This years theme is- green and conservation. The parade is followed by a concert on the town common and a boat parade by the town beach on Lake Maspenock.
Hopkinton schools, through the dilligent efforts of selectman, school committee and volunteers have been able to maintain the high service levels which have made Hopkinton schools tops in Metrowest and nationally recognized. watch this short video-

Several Metrowest High School's made "The Top of The class" in Newsweek magazine article on thye Top 1500 High schools in America. Included locally were - Ashland, Framingham, Hopkinton, Hudson, Medway, Millis, Nashoba Regional in Bolton, Wellesley and Weston.
