The Jefferson House restaurant is a favorite of Jefferson, GA residents because of the down home food and the small town prices. With their new drive through (call ahead to avoid waiting), they are a breakfast and lunch MACHINE 6 days a week.

I've never had anything here I didn't like. And I'm not just saying that. When I was pregnant I was very particular - and I can be very picky about how things are cooked. If I'm ever disatisfied, they fix the dish perfectly with no complaints or dirty looks. I love going to this restaurant because they treat you like family. The Jefferson House Restaurant is by far my favorite restaurant in Jefferson, GA.

From biscuits and gravy to French toast for breakfast, their selection is sure to please your picky eaters. Lunch is unbeatable since you can get a meat and 3 sides for under $6!! They have everything from porck chops and fried chicken to turnip greens and mashed potatoes. So if you're looking for country cookin', you need to stop by. But remember - Breakfast and lunch only! So don't be mad at me when you show up on Sunday looking for a biscuit. You'll have to settle for Mcdonald's.

Restaurant Review: El Centinela Mexican Restaurant Jefferson, GA:

El Centinela Mexican restaurant has quickly become my husband and my's favorite restaurant in Jefferson. Just a few tips before you go: Seat yourself, and come hungry!

I've made the mistake of waiting to be seated a few too many times. Do not hesitate. Seat yourself (you will thank me later). When you sit down someone will come and offer you something to drink, and typically they do this BEFORE dropping off chips and salsa - I absolutely hate it when you go to a restaurant and they give you appetizers before drinks. HELLO!! I'm going to need something to wash it down with!!

I've had everything here from fajitas, to carne asada, the Texanos, and even fish tacos. My husband, who has a decent manly appetite LOVES the Texanos. The only thing I've ever had I did NOT enjoy here was the Carne Asada. Now - you may enjoy it, but I find the meat unflavorful and tough (and I've tried it more than once and I DO know of a Mexican restaurant that makes one I like - just so you know before you ask)

If you're looking for a great place to eat with your family tonight - El Centinela is the place. They get you in and out as quickly as you sit down practically. Sometimes you don't even have enough time to run to the restroom and wash your hands before your food is ready and on the table! The prices are also affordable, but expect to pay around $30 after tax and tip if you have 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 beverages. Enjoy!

Our local Beef O'Bradys Restaurant in The Kroger Shopping center in Jefferson, Georgia deserves a big pat on the back. Anyone can tell by the always packed parking lot that this restaurant is doing things right! Located at 1679 Old Pendergrass Road Jefferson, GA 30549; this Beef O'Bradys restaurant combines the quality of food their franchise offers with the down home feel that we look for here in Jefferson, GA.

Serving everything from wings to burgers and onion rings to salads; this restaurant is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Not to mention their great kids menus, TV's in every corner covering live sports, and video games in the back for children of all ages. The service is always amazing and you remember your waiter or waitress every time you go.

I've now eaten a variety of foods here and can tell you that each dish has been sinfully delicious. I love their boneless wings, their appetizers, wraps, and even salads. My husband LOVES their burgers. But the best thing.... You get the option of straight or curly fries!! I've always been a fan of curly fries and the ones at Beef O'Bradys in Jefferson, GA are worth breaking your diet for.

Jefferson GA Restaurants: Salvador's Italian Grill

Located in the Kroger shopping center in Jefferson Georgia, Salvador's Italian Grill has satisfied the appetites of many locals looking for great quality food at a great price. Personally, I have visited here many times and ordered a few different items - I loved each and every one!

As a personal review - I used to wait tables and I refuse to walk into a restaurant close to closing because I just think it's wrong! However, while I was pregnant, I REALLY wanted Italian food one day. Well, we happened to walk in 5 minutes before they were about to lock the doors. There was a man outside smoking a cigarette when my husband and I walked up to the door and when we saw the closing time, I said "they close in 5 minutes, nevermind - let's go grab something else" to which the man stopped us and said "oh no, we don't even start preparing to close until the last customer leaves. Please come in and eat". I was flabbergasted!!

We went in and sat down quite uncomfortably because we were sure that the waitress would be mad at us for coming in so late.... She wasn't!! She took her time with us the way she would have if we had walked in at the beginning of her shift and even offered us dessert after we were finished! I've always been an advocate of great customer service, and this restaurant deserves the gold star!

Not to mention, their meals are well-portioned, delightfully tasty, and moderately priced.

Salvador's Italian Grill serves Lunch Tuesday through Friday from 11:00am to 2:00 pm and has a wonderful "Endless soup, salad, fresh baked bread, and soft drink" lunch for only $6.99!!!!

They serve dinner daily (closed Monday) and Breakfast on Sunday's from 9am to 2pm.
