I spent alot of time in the last month or so thinking about what drives me, you know what motivates me to get up in the morning and go to work. Of course a little bit of green always helps but it's not everything, and it wasn't ringing my bell like it used to!

So here it is -400 degrees outside, I've got these two 6 year old monkeys climbing all over me, cruising old pictures on the computer, and WHAMO!!!

I blog, so I can attract more business, and spend more time with my kids. I hope everyone on Active Rain has a wonderful New Year, and I hope all of your Goals, Wishes, and Dreams come True.

I know all the rest of you are snoozing away, but I feel like a kid going to the candy store, a felon getting out of prison, I can't explain it. I am just more ready for the New Year than ever before.

Not sure if there resolutions, but Ideas I have for 09

1. Quit reading the paper, it is starting to drag me down like everyone else

2. Take 07 and 08 and act like they never happened, I'm coming off a killer 06 and running with the bulls!!!!

3. Really work my business plan, I finally spent (Had the time unfortunately) to develop a very nice business plan for 09 and I'm going to stick to it.

4 Brush the dust off all my old Zig Ziggler, and Brian Tracy cd's and start listening to them while I drive again. I might even buy some new ones. Agent Mountain has free downloads of motivational stuff that I can download to mp3.

5. Work in some me time, I might have to get up at 4:00 every morning to do it, but I need it.

We spent another day in Hampton VA, nothing at all wrong with that but very excited to get a track going in West Chesapeake, "Western Branch" I have been looking at the ABA site and am putting a proposal together for the new year. Both Braeden and Kohde had a blast, I even took my bike and rode the track about 20 times!!

I am going to work this time into my business plan for 09. As much as I'd like to be a millionaire, I'd rather make some decent money and spend alot of time with my kids. Hope you all have a great New Year!!!

I have found my reason, my "WHY" for Real Estate!, I am the "Flying Tomato" I know there is a real tomato out there in AR land and I'm not you, just a guy with some kids that like to BMX. We drive 32 miles one way to a track that they love, it occured to me that If I want to spend more time with my kids and help more kids along the way I should open up a local track. A friend of mine suggested that I would be the Flying Tomato if I started riding, well here I am. So if your out there and want to help, I will be looking for the following things.

1. 5+ Acres in Chesapeake, preferably the Western Branch area as Greenbrier City park has talks of someday opening a park.

2. Stands

3. Lumber for an announcer booth

4. Dirt, about 22,000 yards, 80% Clay mixture

And some Sponsors and Volunteers, I will be starting a website so that we can begin to coordinate everything and keep people updated.

I have a contractor that would like to start flipping homes in Chesapeake and Portsmouth VA. He is looking for a partner to back the project, no payment to the contractor until, settlement of the house, I will arrange for the marketing of the house saving 3%. I have access to all the forclosure's and good deal's

I will also help cash buyer's to find the home of their dreams, with some elbow grease.
