I have been told by numerous Mortgage Brokers out there that rates are rock bottom, 5.25% yesterday, and I read a little rumer about a 4.5 windfall coming down the pipe. These are 30 year fixed rates, and home prices are CRAZY low!!!!!!! I wrote an offer on a property last week for $185K, that same house 2 years ago was close to $400k, and the rates were around 6.5%. I want to drive around with a mega phone and blast people. Call your agent if you have one, if you don't call me. Call someone in your family and borrow if you have to, it is the best time to buy! People in the 1930's made ton's of money, that was the great depression, they made money because they bought low when every one else was panicking and getting out. Turn off the TV, throw out the paper and do some real research. The media only promotes the negative, because for some reason the public doesn't like the positive, they thrive on the negative. It is the time to buy.

Wow, just got back from a college class I'm taking and it was real eye opening. We had to get up and read from our diary's that we had been writing everyday and you could tell allot about a persons life just from a couple minutes of thought on the day they had.

1. The people who looked good, were well read, and enthusiastic, talked about god, reading empowering books, going to the gym, playing with kids, socializing with friends and groups.

2. The people who bowed there head when they spoke, spoke of wanting things they will never have, being upset if they missed one of there soap operas, never got enough sleep, were discouraged at work and thought that everyone was out to get them.

3. Then you had the people that were completely unsure of them selves, but they were beautiful, funny and would draw you into their life. These were the most liked people of the group, they were the one's that everybody felt like on the inside but they were able to break out of the shell enough to bring you in.

If you can apply this to your career, You might not be the #1 hot shot superstar, but I bet the money would be rollin in at a very comfortable pace.

Went to the Portsmouth, and Norfolk Va illumination parade today, it was a brisk 30 something degrees but lots of fun, recommendations for next year bring your own coffee. We got there early had some drinks in water side and then went out for the parade. There was minimal traffic and the kids loved it. The bands and floats that came by were great.

To Everyone who is thinking of the less fortunate, I have worked with the local food bank for years and just wanted to give you some information. No matter what though, please donate if you can!!!

1. $1.00, Typical can of food cost about a dollar

2. $.28, Cost of the Food bank to feed a family one meal,

3. 8-10 pounds, amount of food the food bank can buy with one dollar.

Please donate money, it goes alot further and can be used when needed the most. It is interesting that most people donate during the winter months so during the summer is when the food banks need help the most.

If you have some time join me and my family at a shelter and give some of your time to the people who need us the most.

Here is the Realtor required Code of Ethics training required by the end of the year, not everyone needs this but a lot do. It is great training whether you need it or not. I learned some things one of which is a listing agent needs to disclose the expiration date of a listing when asked. If they won't disclose you can go directly to the seller and ask. I'm not sure I would be comfortable doing this, but I did learn something new.
