October Home Sales in Cherry Hills Village
Cherry Hills Village home sales picked up in October, after a dip in September sales. Four of the houses sold for over one million dollars. One of the sold houses was a bank owned property and it sold for 64.4% of the original listing price. The total number of homes on the market is dropping, which is typical. During the winter months, which many consider the slow season, many sellers decide pull their homes of the market and maybe re-list in the spring.
2009 Cherry Hills home sales are about 65% of what they were in 2008. Average sold price is down about $100,000 and average days on the market has seen a large increase from 2008. October Home Sales in Lone Tree Real Estate
Home Sales in Lone Tree in October remained at the same level as in September, and that is good news. Homes are still continuing to sell better at the lower price range whereas the luxury homes are hardly moving. Washington Park in November
Washington Park - or Wash Park, as the Denverites call it - is an active neighborhood and park in Denver. Below are photos from Washington Park a couple of days ago. It was over 70 degrees, unseasonably warm, but hey we take.
This fellow / girl was huge! Maybe stocking it up for the winter - on a french fry nevertheless LOL.

Luxury Homes for sale in Castle Pines Village
172 Homes are for sale in Castle Pines Village, Colorado as of Nov 3rd, 2009. The listing prices range from $420,000 to $6,800,000. 65% of the homes for sale have been on the market for more than 6 months. 38% more than a year. 13 new listings came on the market in October in Castle Pines Village.
The number of houses on the market has increased since July and home sales have not picked up - it's pretty slow going. Why? Most of the homes for sale in Castle Pines Village are luxury homes with price tags of over one million dollars. Luxury home sales in Denver area in general have significantly slowed down since Nov 2008 and Castle Rock is feeling it too.
