Most everyone here knows the value of a compelling visual presentation, so I'm not going to get into that. We've teamed up with NWA's Ready, Set, Stage! on several homes lately for a Stage -n- Shoot, and I've just got to say they look awesome! Homeowners are falling in love with their homes again! Realtors are geared up with new excitement for their listings!
I realize that, even though I can show off the best in a home, ultimately my photographs capture truth. And if the truth of a home is that it's ugly, or all of it's beauty is covered up - that's what I'm going to capture. So all of my photographs look better when my subject has had it's true beauty brought out by Donna's (a fellow Active Rainer) staging. And Donna realizes all the best staging in the world is going to do little good if people won't visit the home because they don't like what they see in the photos. Together, we're making buyers fall in love with homes both before they see it in person, and again when they see it in person.
Here's some of "our" recent work:

Some may say that's great for super high-end homes. The funny thing is a lot of the homes we work on are not particularly high-end. But they do begin seeing higher-end potential buyers once we've worked our magic.
I like to say I get them in the door, and Donna keeps them there.
As a side note, I think I'm taking Donna furniture shopping with me from now on.

Looking for a family fun activity and healthy eating, too. Right now blueberries are ripe and we have several u-pick farms in the area. It's a great family activity, you get to soak up some sun and fresh air, and it makes healthy fun for kids.

We went to this farm in Gravette, Fisher's Blueberries. You just follow the signs, pretty soon you're surrounded by nature in all her glory and row after row of blueberries. The Fisher's are the sweetest people, and Mrs. Fisher was my kindergarten teacher (pay attention that may be on the quiz later). They said you can get more information on a site called upick.org or something like that (or you could just ask me).

I always like to take the opportunity to let the kids see and experience where our food really comes from. You know, today's kids, if it's not in a box with a toy inside they don't want it. And I'm all for anything that makes healthy eating seem like a good idea.
Eat they did. They should have weighed the kids when we got there and again when we were done and charged us for the difference!

Didn't seem like such a great idea when diaper time came, though. Sorry to leave you with that thought.

Well you don't actually get more hours, but this will help free hours you already have so it's almost like getting more.
I just found out about this new browser from my marketing mentor, Cheryl. The new Flock browser is powered by Mozilla and plugs into all of your social networking sites. It's gets all of your updates all in one place. Now you don't have to spend so much time going to each site individually.
It works with Digg, Facebook, Flickr, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube, Photobucket, Picasa, Blogger, Wordpress, Delicious, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail and more!
You can view updates, write blog posts, and more right there in Flock. I just installed this yesterday - and I'm lovin' it.

We went to the Christmas Parade in Bentonville on Saturday. It was so cold, it really felt like Christmastime.

The elves stopped to make a balloon animal for a little girl near us.

Of course, what Christmas parade would be complete with out the Energizer Bunny, and Walkin in Weiner Wonderlands?

The Bryer's driver must have been playing hooky - he obviously didn't count on my sharp eye!

We took this photo for a project we're working on. It's Loch Lomond in Bella Vista AR. The shot turned out too beautiful to not share.
Everything was perfect that day for the shoot - the sky, the weather, the colors in the trees.
