The cold may finally be breaking over Brunswick GA! Its time to thaw out! I cannot begin to explain how happy I really am about this forecast. I looked on The Weather Channel's website, www.weather.com, and found my zen moment. One more night of near freezing temperatures and then its mid-60s weather for us here in the Golden Isles! Now some of our friends that live in other parts of the country may laugh at this. However, Brunswick GA is known for its humid subtropical climate. The average temperature in January, which is our coldest month, is 63 for a high and 44 for a low. After spending the last two weeks at temperatures that have hit a high of mid 50s and lows have been into the 10s, I am personally ready for some warmer weather!!

Being from South Georgia, we don't see a tremendous amount of cold weather. In fact this cold spell that the nation is currently engaged in, makes me long for somewhere with a more caribbean feel. What can I say, we aren't used to bundling up!!
