The Labor Day holiday weekend, which is the unofficial end of summer, is now behind us. Now we are at the beginning of a new school year for many local students. Parents have been busy shopping for school supplies, new clothes and other necessities for their children. Most children are anxious to go back to school and meet their new teachers, see their friends, and possibly learn their way around a new school when they are moving to the next level. (Elementary to Middle School or Middle to High School)
Philadelphia Magazine has recently publish an article ranking the school districts from amongst the local counties. This Counties include most if not all of the schools in Bucks, Mongtgomery, Chester, Delaware and other surrounding areas. I do not know the criteria by which they came up with their ranking but felt is was interesting.
Below is a list of the Bucks County Schools that were in the top fifty districts and where they ranked:
07. NEW HOPE SOLEBURY SCHOOL DISTRICT
10. CENTRAL BUCKS SCHOOL DISTRICT
15. COUNCIL ROCK SCHOOL DISTRICT
37. QUAKERTOWN COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT
38, PALISADES SCHOOL DISTRICT
39. PENNSBURY SCHOOL DISTRICT
40. SOUDERTON SCHOOL DISTRICT (also has students that reside in Montgomery County)
43. PENNRIDGE SCHOOL DISTRICT
44. NESHAMINY SCHOOL DISTRICT
46. CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
If you would like more information on any of these district, please email me and I will send you a school report or visit the school district's website.
If you are considering possibly buying or selling a home in the Bucks County Real Estate market, please contract me (Linda Tremblay) or my partner Marcie Purcell.
I am please to announce that Marcie Purcell and I have partnered up. Marcie and I have worked together for over 5 years and have been team members since we affiliated with Long and Foster Real Estate. As team members, we have worked together on some things and separately on others. When one of us went away on vacation, the other would step in so that our clients never had to wait to see a home, to put an offer in or to get a return phone call.
This year, due to circumstances we have worked on more together, than not. As per normal, when I went on vacation, Marcie was there for my clients and sold one of my listings. When Marcie went on vaction, I was there for her clients and actually found a new home for one of them. Later, Marcie's dad was hospitalized and I took over for her. Her dad was no sooner released and my dad was hospitalized. Of course, she took over for me.
We had done so much together and actually enjoy working together that we decided to make it an official partnership. So, if you are considering buying or selling a home in the Bucks County Real Estate market, please either call me direct at 215-534-2369 or Marcie Purcell direct at 215-534-2539. We specialize in "You"
I was running in between a meeting and an appointment today and needed something in my stomach. I
was hungry. I stopped in FIVE GUYS Burgers and Fries, located in the Cross Keys Place shopping Center in Doylestown. I had never eaten in a FIVE GUYS before but I was really impressed with the food.
Their menu is not large but they have Burgers made out of fresh gro
und beef(never frozen), Hot dogs, Fries (either Five Guys Style or Cajun) and soft drinks or bottled water.
I ordered a cheesburger (actually their chesseburger is a double burger) with mushrooms on a toasted roll , a regular fries (they even give you an extra scoop of fries which are cooked in no cholesterol tasty peanut oil,) and I had a regular size drink. There was more than enough to eat. The burger was one of the best (if not the best) I have ever eaten. It was well done but extremely juicy!!! I will definitely go back.
So if you are looking for a great burger, stop in FIVE GUYS. They are open 11am to 10pm, seven days a week.
If you are looking to buy or sell a home in the Doylestown area, call or email Linda Tremblay or Marcie Purcell. We specialize in helping clients, just like you.
Part of this post was written by A.B. Albritton who is my team member and a friend of John Grogan who lives in Bucks County with a Coopersburg mailing address. I have not had not had the chance to read the book yet, but my team member Marcie Purcell did and totally enjoyed it.
Congratulations to our friend and neighbor John Grogan of Coopersburg. John wrote the runaway New York Times bestseller "Marley and Me" which was a delightful book about a family and their Labrador retriever. Marley was a lovable hound but often naughty and John captured the love beautifully between the dog and his family. Now, filming is complete on the movie by the same name. It will be released around Christmas and stars Jennifer Anniston and Owen Wilson. Another Bucks County resident makes up proud!
