Yesterday NESEA (Northeast Sustainable Energy Association) had an open house tour. As my time was limited I chose to look at a house in Concord which had been retrofitted by an architect at Building Science in Westford. I learned alot but what stood out for me was the 'what to do first' question. And it was answered in no uncertain terms - button up the basement. It all starts there.
