So, my cell phone is up and running again. It only cost me $22.70 for a new car charger. I feel as if I've returned to civilization. Now I'm expecting my computer to crash and will have to revert to the green books of yore. For those out there who entered into this business AFTER the technology revolution, be glad you don't know about the green books. The rest of us can just reminesce

Ever try to remember what this profession was like before cell phones? I'm about to get that chance.... my cell phone just died. I had it charging all night, went to turn it on this morning and NOTHING! I guess I'm going to Verizon this morning. I don't want to miss any calls. wish me luck
Sometimes I have some really good days in real estate, and sometimes I have some really bad days. Whatever happened to the sandwich days? I check the hotsheet everyday for the MLS to see what is going on and there are always plenty of things to choose from. I would love to show any or all of these homes but my buyer pool has suddenly dried up. So, how do I get through this drought? Someone, everyone says blog. That's what I now do. I honestly believe that now is the best time to buy. What bargains there are out there. Inventory is high, rates are still relatively low and let's not forget about the government's "Gift" of $7500 for the first time home buyer. I'm lonely, call me, let's get together on a Sat. or Sun, or any other time.

Hi everyone.
I have a favor to ask Realtors in Dutchess County. I have been working with a couple that needs a ranch style home. Here are their qualifications:
4 bedroom, 2 full baths anywhere in Dutchess except city of Pok
central air// inground pool. between 375000-450000
at least 2200 square feet little to no work needed
I realize this is a tall order, but if anyone knows of anything, please let me know. They don't need to move until the end of the school year. Thanks
So you've decided that Dutchess County is the place where you want to raise your children. You need to find out about the school districts and what each one has to offer. The fastest way to go is to Google, school report card. This gives you free information on any school district you want. The problem is that with most governmental reports, the information is there, but it could be stated in such a convoluted way that it doesn't make sense. Choosing a district is like choosing a new home. You want to make sure it meets your needs, that you are getting your money's worth and that you investigated everything prior to making a commitment.
One of the best ways to find out if a school is a good fit for you is to just go there at dismissal. Talk to parents about the experiences their children are having, ask questionw and really listen to the answers. You will acquire a tremendous amount of information like that. Next, go into the main office without an appointment and ask to speak with the principal. If he or she is busy, ask to speak to one of the teachers, get free literature that the school has to hand out and get permission to walk around. Get the feel of the place.
If you decide that public schools are not for you, there are always parochial and private schools to check out. If I can help..........
