The Sarasota Association of Realtors just released the latest monthly real estate statistics for October 2008.

Pending sales remained above the 500 level in October 2008, forecasting a stronger market for the winter real estate season in the Sarasota area. Pending sales reflect contracts executed by sellers and buyers. Current numbers indicate more closings likely in the upcoming months - a positive sign. In October of 2008, 549 properties were reported pending, compared to 446 in the same month of 2007.

The Condo on the Bay development is a fixture of the downtown Sarasota skyline. It is one of the few buildings located directly on the shores of Sarasota bay. Built in 1982, residents enjoy breathtaking views of Sarasota Bay, the John Ringling Bridge, Longboat Key and gorgeous sunsets.
