With nearly 600 homes for sale in Palm Beach Gardens country club communities this season savvy buyers can find a wide variety of single family homes, condos and townhouses at bargain prices.
Over the past few days I have written about prices and available homes in Mirasol, Ibis Country Club and Frenchmans Reserve.
Today it's BallenIsles where there are 123 homes for sale ranging in price from $339,000 for a single family three bedroom, three bath, 2165 square foot home up to $3 million for a 7432 square foot, four bedroom, five bath family home.
Today's home prices throughout Palm Beach County are 25 percent to 30 percent lower than they were in 2006. In fact, prices are about the same as they were in October, 2003!
For example, in 2006 three bedroom, three bath homes in the Coral Cay section of BallenIsles sold for the mid to high $500,000's. Today there are six homes on the market in Coral Cay ranging from $329,000 for a three bedroom, three bath home to the high $400,000's
And there are also short sales available in BallenIsles.

Palm Beach Gardens country club communities have loads of homes on the market at value prices for the savvy buyer.
After my previous blogs looked at homes in Mirasol and Ibis Country Club, where there are nearly 300 homes available, many at reduced prices, I am focusing today on Frenchmans Reserve where there are 60 homes on the market through the Multiple Listing Service. You can see many of them through our website by clicking here.
Prices in Frenchmans Reserve range from the low $400,000 for a large two bedroom, two bath coach home to more than $2 million for an expansive family home. And there are four short sales in Frenchmans including three coach homes and one single family home.
The two bedroom, two bath $430,000 coach home in Frenchmans today compares with a two bedroom, two bath Frenchmans coach home that sold for $695,000 in 2006. This is an indication of the values available for interested buyers today.
Frenchmans Reserve is a community of a few hundred homes located at alternate A1A and Hood Road. It is must minutes from The Gardens Mall, Downtown at the Gardens and Legacy Place, where you will find world class shopping and an abundance of restaurants. The community boasts an Arnold Palmer designed golf course, tennis courts and large clubhouse with loads of activities and a wonderful restaurant.

There are nearly 200 homes for sale in Palm Beach Gardens' Ibis Country Club with prices for a townhouse starting at $160,000 and going up to nearly $3 million for a large family home with golf and lake views.
Prices in Ibis, as in most Palm Beach Gardens country club communities have declined in the past couple of years providing wonderful opportunities for interested buyers.
For example, there is a four bedroom, three bath, 2926 square foot, single family pool home in the new Woodlands section of Ibis on the market for $375,000. Last year these homes sold for prices in the $500,000's and $600,000's, thought there was one bank foreclosure that sold for $379,000.
Check the prices in Orchid Reserve, a community of large condos with view of either the preserve or the golf course. Today a two bedroom, two bath unit is on the market for $249,000. Last year the price of these units was above $300,000.
Ibis Country Club has three challenging Jack Nicklaus golf courses, 18 tennis courts, a large fitness center and pool plus a clubhouse with loads of activities and a restaurant serving delicious meals. The community is located west on Northlake Boulevard just past the Loxahatchee Nature Preserve.

Palm Beach Gardens country club communities have hundreds of homes on the market this season at particularly attractive prices.
More than 600 homes are available in the wonderful communities of Mirasol, BallenIsles, Frenchmans Reserve, Ibis Country Club, Ironhorse Country Club, Old Marsh and Frenchmans Creek. And prices are coming down in line with reductions throughout the county.
Today in Mirasol there are 108 homes for sale, both condos and single family homes. Prices start in the $400,000's for either a condo or a single family home in Mirasol and are as high as over $3 million.
Last year 59 homes sold in Mirasol through the regional multiple listing service. A good example of a sale in the Viscaya section of Mirasol is a four bedroom, four bath home with 3323 square feet under air selling for $799,000. That same model and size home is on the market now at $750,000.
Yes, prices are still coming down and it is a great time to buy that vacation home or new residence that you have been dreaming about.

There are more than 175 single family homes, townhouses and condos on the market in Abacoa, located in Jupiter, Florida adjacent to Palm Beach Gardens.
The units range from small condos in the midst of Abacoa's towncenter to large single family homes in the upscale section of Valencia. Prices begin in the low $100,000's for a condo, or the mid $100,000's for a townhouse and the mid $300,000's for a single family home.
Abacoa is a planned community with extraordinary resources within the community.
