Chris Charles - Sycamore Real Estate: Oconee and Sinclair Lakes - Georgia

We Have Much for Which to be Thankful!

Regardless of the economy and the impacts upon the real estate market, I have much for which to be thankful. Here is a short list of things I give pause to to give thanks for on the advent of Thanksgiving Day 2008:

  1. Salvation through Christ Jesus
  2. My family and their health and happiness
  3. Friends, old and new and their well-being
  4. Our nation and the freedoms we enjoy daily
  5. The men and women who protect our freedoms at home and abroad; may God bless them and their families
  6. Opportunities to help people accomplish their real estate goals regarding the buying or selling of a home.
  7. Opportunities to share my experience and knowledge to assist others dealing with challenges.
  8. Opportunity to work with some of the greatest folks in the world, my Sycamore Oconee Real Estate family.

Thank you to all who have placed confidence and faith in me as a Realtor throughout 2008. May God bless you all.

Colors of Fall Break Out in Lake Country

While the mountainous areas and more northerly states can boast to having the most beautiful fall leaf colors, I will contend that Lake Country also rates pretty high. I took these pictures around the house this afternoon. This past weekend, I assumed that leaves would just fall off the trees. Was I ever mistaken! During the past two days the colors have exploded in the wooded areas. As I was taking these pictures, a neighbor joined me. Together we marveled at the spectrum of colors as the sunlight began to fade. We commented that too often, we all take the marvels of God's creation for granted.

I am resolving to take a moment to enjoy the sites and sounds around me a little more often. I hope you will commit to do the same.

Fall Fun at the Farm

During the final week of October, students from Putnam County Elementary and Gatewood Schools visited the Copelan Farm on Wards Chapel Road. Children met farm animals face to face, explored the fields, negotiated a corn maze, and took a hay ride around the farm. Parents reported that all children slept well after a day of unending energy expenditure. Enjoy some pictures of the farm activities.
