Tell me what you would do?
You are out showing buyer clients a few properties and you stop at the next home on the tour. You unlock the door and your clients proceed inside to view the property. 3 minutes later into the house walk another couple. They tell you they are working with Susie Q (their Realtor) but she is not available to show them properties today and they really wanted to see the house. "Do you mind if we just walk through?"
What would you do?

Guess who's coming to dinner....
This little {{BIG}} fellow showed up on my driveway just minutes before my guests started to arrive for a party.
Poor guy......no party for him......too ugly to get a date so he continued to stroll down the street before heading back into the water.
Cape Coral is full of wonderful sights of nature. Every day is an adventure.

The area north of Pine Island Road and West of Burnt Store Road is a wonderful Gulf Access community of waterfront and off-water single family homes, condominiums, and gated communities.
It's vicinity to Pine Island and Matlacha Pass make it a true nature lovers dream; yet offers all the amenities of shopping, restaurants, art galleries, and every comfort of living in Paradise.
With Punta Gorda just north, the NW area provides access to Route 75 running north to the Georgia border and south to Miami.
If you are looking for a place to call home, this is it.

Our neighbors may be full time residents or seasonal snowbirds, but they have one thing in common...the love of this beautiful place we call home.
There is always some thing to get involved in, whether it is participating in the local civic association, clean-up day, boating or kayaking clubs, or other community events.
New neighbors are always greeted with big smiles and usually invited to someone's ‘Manatee Watching' party.
Get involved or be laid back and enjoy all the splendors the NW area brings.

Nature, fishing, boating, boating, fishing, nature.......if you are lucky enough to own a gulf access home you can walk into your back yard and boat to some of the best fishing grounds in the world. Or maybe beaching and shelling is your thing....well wait until you see the fabulous secret islands just waiting for you off the NW area. Not on gulf access? That's okay...a community boat ramp is located conveniently off Burnt Store Road. Or better yet.....find a friend with a boat.

Golfers, we've got you covered....Coral Oaks Golf Course, which is just on the other side of Burnt Store Road, offers an 18-hole, championship course. There are 8 lakes and 37 bunkers which makes it fun and challenging for golfers of all skill levels.
And don't forget Royal Tee Golf Club--the largest semi-private golf club in Southwest Florida. Featuring 27 championship holes, the course includes more than 50 acres of freshwater lakes, a driving range, two practice greens and four sets of tees.

While the guys are out fishing there is plenty to do......the shops and galleries on Matlacha will keep you intrigued for hours with a unique shopping experience.
There are restaurants for everyone's taste and more are popping up every where....just within a few miles you can find a place to dine on the water and watch the dolphins play or you can find a national chain with a familiar name.

Ashamed to admit it...but I had never been to the Cape Coral Oktoberfest until last night. What was I thinking? Well...maybe I work too much...but that story is for another blog.
This year the Cape Coral Oktoberfest is held two weekends in a row...October 16-18 and 23-25; 4pm to midnight Fridays, noon to Midnight Saturdays, noon to 9pm Sunday...at the German American Social Club, 2101 Pine Island Rd, Cape Coral, FL.
I am here to tell you that if you have never been...YOU MUST GO!! And those of you that have already been I am sure I will see you there again. This is a first-class festival. Huge!! Huge!! Huge!! Tent with comfy chairs, music playing I was told that they fly German Oktoberfest bands in from Germany. It was so authentic and fun!!
Outside the tent there are food vendors...try the sausage dinner, ham hocks, sauerkraut, potato pancakes, ice cream, funnel cakes, etc...Rides for the kids, more bands and dancing outside the tent, exhibitors, and oh...did I forget to say beer?
People come from far and wide for this event. Several Festival goers were dressed in Oktoberfest clothing. At one point I asked a gentleman seated at the end of our table where he got his hat...his reply "Germany". He didn't speak much more English.
Cape Coral Florida-I am once again proud to call you home!
