If you look very closely you will see a hunter's duck blind in the picture to the left of the fisherman along the shoreline!

Soon on Long Lake I will be hearing the bang, bang, bang of shot guns taking out some of the very large population of ducks and geese in the Portage Lakes, Ohio area. There are areas around Portage Lakes, Ohio that we have trouble driving because the water fowl cross the streets very leisurely. We respect the buggers and slow down or stop. We also have a problem with the "stuff" they leave behind on our lawns and in our parks!

This is my favorite flower in my garden! I love the vibrant color of the Nikki Blue Hydrangea! After the blue initial color it fades to purple and green. It makes a beautiful dried flower and you can dry it at any color change! Just be careful if you plant this bush, it gets very large, so plan ahead! It can be a good screen along side a neighbor you want to block out! This is my happy flower!!
