Fox Run Regional Park is located in the northern area of Colorado Springs. At an elevation of 7000 feet,
this park boasts 5 miles of trails nestled within the ponderosa pines. These trails are available for walking or biking. And, if you think just because summer is nearly over and you won't be going to any parks, think again. In the winter, these trails are excellent for either snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.
In addition to the trails, there are 5 pavilions available for private parties. Each pavilion can accommodate up to approximately 50 people and have 7 tables, 2 or 3 charcoal grills, and an electrical outlet. Two of the pavilions even have lighting! Nearby the pavilions you will find a playground for the younger children and, for the young at heart, a sand volleyball pit and a horseshoe pit. Public restrooms and a water spigot are also available.

If this isn't enough, the park also boasts Aspen Lake with a nearby 16 foot wide Gazebo. The Gazebo can be rented out for weddings or other special occasions. It accommodates approximately 20 to 100 people standing.

The best part is, you don't have to drive far! Fox Run Regional Park is located at 2110 Stella Drive, Black Forest, Colorado, and is easy to get to. Head North on Highway 83, turn west on Old Northgate Road, north on Roller Coaster Road, and west on Stella Drive and you will see the entrance of the park. Or, if you are coming from the Tri-Lakes area, head south on I-25, take Baptist Road east to Roller Coaster Road. Head south to Stella Drive and go west on Stella Drive until you see the park entrance. If you love the outdoors, you will love this park!
